The Delran Fire Co. No. 2 was incorporated in 1928 to cover the Riverside Park section of the Township. This station moved in 2007 and is now located at 1020 South Chester Avenue, which is closer to the center of town. The Delran Fire Co. No 2 contains a 2015 Pierce 50′ Tele Squrt equipped with a Class A CAFS foam system, a 2003 Pierce Class A Pumper equipped with a Class A & B CAFS foam system, a 2006 Pierce Heavy Rescue equipped with extrication, water/ice, & lighting equipment, a pickup truck equipped with water & ice rescue equipment and a rehab trailer for long term incidents in and out of town. The DFC#2 also operates a 27’ Boston Whaler equipped with bottom and side scan sonar. The Delran Fire Company # 2 responds to all incidents in town with the Delran Fire Company #1 and provides mutual aid to the surrounding townships and beyond.
